Olivia is a freelance journalist and media professional who has covered travel, sustainability, and science for National Geographic, Travel + Leisure, Smithsonian Magazine, Sierra, Afar, Thrillist, Atlas Obscura, Midwest Living, and more. As a copywriter, Olivia has worked with B Corps and sustainable brands such as Econyl, Icebreaker, Davines, Bright Trip, and Shuki. Olivia holds a bachelor's degree from Ohio University's E.W. Scripps School of Journalism and has received an award from the Ohio Society of Professional Journalists for her feature writing.
